Beauty and FooD

Beauty
It's been a hectic week but none da less has been a fun too, firstly would like to reveal a eureka moment that happened 3 days ago. I have a combination skin so even a lil bit of humidity ruins my makeup and gives the face a patchy look. I have been using Max Factor Second Skin Foundation, Golden for quite some time now and loved the way it gives my face a natural and even tone but each day my excitement was short lived as in 2-3 hrs my makeup would simply rub off if I wiped my face, which I need to do pretty often due to oily skin.

So I tried using a power foundation on top, my fav one till date is Revlon Colour Stay Compact Powder but result was a disaster, my face looked white and loaded with makeup so I tried a different way to use the same cosmetics, after applying my moisturiser I apply Revlon Colour Stay Powder, Just a swipe, not too much, wait for a min and then apply Max Factor Second Skin Foundation and the results are great. It looks natural and stays for a very long time, also it gives my face a hydrated look, not too dry neither oily, just perfect and yeah, the kadi baaz in me was hunting for a nice pink blush and tried on MAC's Rose Suit Eyeshadow as blush and trust me when you blend both and apply it gives that face a flushed look, very natural and a must try.

FooD!
Today would like to talk bout street food and small time places that I love in Pune, too many to name... but when it comes to basics like tea n coffee, I being a coffee lover would love to have steaming cup of coffee at Coffee Shop, one of the many shops lined up on the street near Model Colony... nice cup of special chai, shakkar kum is a rare treat and prefer any tapri that customises it as per my taste.... being a mumbaikar and a chaat lover, assal mumbaiya chaat is one thing I miss in Pune coz pune chaats are "Sweet" also when you address the chaat wala " Tikkha Banana" what you get is dish loaded with green/red chilly paste with the same amount of tamrind chutney which again is SWEET! but there's just one place in Pune where I eat pani purri and that's Jai Shankar, in camp, awesome is not the word, No One Can Eat Just One ;D

For the Non-Veg Lovers a nice Chicken Tikka Kati Kabab in this chilly winter awaits u at Kapila Nr.Dhole Patil Road.... If you love seetaphal or gulkand shake then nothing beats Kathari Bandhu, Nr.Rajaram Bridge ( 7-12.30 in the eve only )

If you are a student, an IT professional with odd working hours or simply a nocturnal creature who loves to eat south Indian food or poha with a cup of cutting at 3 .30-4 before the break of dawn then Sweekar in Mayur Colony is the place for you besides Cumsum at pune station.... lots more to come your way till then njoy eating :D
